DC vs KXIP: GoodGamer Preview, Probable Playing XI and Fantasy Team

A thrilling battle is on the cards as Delhi Capitals take on Kings XI Punjab in the second game of the IPL 2020 season at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Both teams have assembled a strong squad for this season. The Capitals made it to the playoffs last season and finished third ultimately. They will be eager to go one step further in this edition. Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, had finished at sixth but they have bolstered their squad with some big names like Glenn Maxwell and Sheldon Cottrell this time. Both sides look quite strong on paper and thus can be expected to produce a spectacle in this match.

Team news and predicted XI

None of the two sides have any injury concerns at the moment.

The Delhi Capitals XI is pretty straight forward. The only toss up would be between Shimron Hetmyer and Alex Carey in the middle-order. The latter is coming into this tournament on the back of a hundred in the last ODI against England. It also remains to be seen if they would go with either of the leg leg spinners in Lamichhane and Mishra or a pacer in Daniel Sams.

Kings XI Punjab will also have to choose between their overseas contingent. While the likes of Glenn Maxwell and Sheldon Cottrell look like certain starters, Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran and Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Chris Jordan will be fighting for two spots.

Delhi Capitals

Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer/Alex Carey, Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Sandeep Lamichhane/Amit Mishra/Daniel Sams, Ishant Sharma, Kagiso Rabada

Kings XI Punjab

KL Rahul, Chris Gayle/Nicholas Pooran, Mayank Agarwal, Glenn Maxwell, Sarfaraz Khan, Mandeep Singh, K Gowtham, Mohammed Shami, Sheldon Cottrell, Mujeeb Ur Rahman/Chris Jordan, Ravi Bishnoi
