India managed to steal yet another victory from the jaws of defeat, after a super over triumph over New Zealand in the 4th T20I, in Wellington, on Friday.
The visitors batted first and managed to put up 165-8 at the end of 20 overs thanks to Manish Pandey’s 50* and valuable contributions from Shardul Thakur and Navdeep Saini as well.
While New Zealand looked home and host with some good batting through the early and middle overs, yet another choke towards the end ensured a super-over beckoned and an eventual India victory followed.
Our principal correspondent, Sandipan Banerjee, experienced all of the drama first hand in Wellington and took some time post the game to gather his thoughts with our broadcaster, Sumedh Bilgi.
