Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 22, in Match 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Having won all three matches in IPL 2021, RCB are the only unbeaten side so far this year. Virat Kohli & co. are currently placed second in the league table, behind Chennai Super Kings.
Rajasthan, on the other hand, have yet again struggled in the early phase of an edition. They have managed to secure just one victory out of their three matches and are second from bottom in the table at present.
Considering the pacy Wankhede track, RCB’s Finn Allen may get his maiden IPL cap against Rajasthan. Shahbaz Ahmed is likely to lose his place in that case, given that Bangalore have already got two spinners, in Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Rajasthan, too, may bring a change in their top order. Yashasvi Jaiswal may feature for the first time in IPL 2021, in place of Manan Vohra. Skipper Sanju Samson may also bring a specialist spinner in their line up – RCB’s arch nemesis Shreyas Gopal.
Prediction: A close contest. Maybe Rajasthan’s win coming after a lacklustre start.
- Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal are highly dependable top-order options.
- You can’t ignore Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers from Fantasy XI. They can return good value to your side.
- Harshal Patel, Kyle Jamieson and Mustafizur Rahman can be handy with the ball.
