West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor has been ruled out of the series. She is primary contact of a Covid-19 positive person. Anisa Mohammed will lead them in her absence, while Qiana Joseph, who last played for the country in 2017 in ODIs, is likely to replace Taylor in the playing XI. Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin will be in focus.
Dane van Niekerk’s team is high on confidence before heading to this contest. They have won both T20I series so far this year, first against Pakistan, and then against India.
