Javeria Khan’s Pakistan lost all their first six games – three T20Is and three ODIs – on the West Indies tour before their last meeting. They finally managed to make a comeback in the fourth ODI with a four-wicket win.
Putting into bat, West Indies were bowled out for 210 in 49.4 overs. Kyshona Knight top-scored with 88 in 144 balls, while Stefanie Taylor made 49 in 77. Fatima Sana and Nashra Sandhu did the most damage for Pakistan. They both picked up four wickets apiece.
Coming to a challenging chase, Sidra Ameen (41 off 67) and Omaima Sohail (61 off 89) kept Pakistan in control. But the wickets kept falling in regular intervals, and in the end, they eventually went over the line with nine balls to spare.
Pakistan will be hoping to end the series with back-to-back wins, but it will not be easy against a strong West Indies side, who thoroughly dominated in every department.
