Bournemouth has announced that Brazilian goalkeeper, Neto, has signed a new contract with the club, which will see him stay until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Neto arrived at Bournemouth in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer from Barcelona, signing an initial one-year deal. He has since made 18 appearances for the Cherries and has kept four clean sheets, establishing himself as the team's number one goalkeeper.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper expressed his delight upon signing the new contract, stating that he and his family are enjoying their life on the south coast of England. He also spoke of the connection he has with the club and its surroundings, emphasizing that it was an important factor in his decision to sign the new deal.

Neto brings a wealth of experience to Bournemouth, having played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Juventus, Valencia, and Fiorentina. He also earned a silver medal with Brazil at the 2012 Olympics in London.

With Neto's new contract secured, Bournemouth fans can look forward to seeing the Brazilian shot-stopper continue to showcase his skills between the sticks.
