Fortune Barishal registered their fifth win of BPL 2021/22 after defeating Comilla Victorians by 32 runs at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Asked to chase 156, the Victorians could only manage 123/9. Mominul Haque top-scored with 30, but the rest of the batters got out cheaply.
For Barishal, Nayeem Hasan claimed three wickets, while Dwayne Bravo and Shakib Al Hasan picked up two apiece. Shakib earlier struck a 37-ball 50 to lift Barishal to 155/5 after they lost three wickets for 69. Munim Shahriar made a quick 45, but Towhid Hridoy took 37 balls for his 31.

Soumya Sarkar struck an unbeaten 62-ball 82 to help Khulna Tigers beat Sylhet Sunrisers by 15 runs. The Sunrisers could only manage 167/6 while chasing 183. Anamul Haque (47) forged crucial partnerships with Lendl Simmons and Colin Ingram to get the Sunrisers off to a decent start, but the rest of the batters failed to capitalise, and a late cameo from Mosaddek Hossain (39) wasn't enough to ensure a victory for them.
Earlier, the Tigers lost two wickets inside the first three balls of the game. Yasir Ali's dismissal reduced them to 46/3. But Soumya and Mushfiqur Rahim (62) then added an unbroken 136-run stand to guide their team to a steep total.
