According to a report by Sport, Premier League clubs Chelsea and Newcastle United could potentially be in the market for Raphinha as Barcelona may be considering selling the Brazilian winger this summer. Despite only joining Barca from Leeds United in the summer of 2021, financial troubles at the Catalan club have sparked rumors that they may look to sell Raphinha for a profit after just one season.

This news has reportedly alerted both Chelsea and Newcastle, who are well aware of Raphinha's talents from his impressive performances in the Premier League. While the 26-year-old took some time to adjust to life in Spain, his time at Elland Road showcased his abilities and made him a valuable asset for any top-tier team.

Chelsea, who have seen disappointing performances from their wingers Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech this season, are looking for upgrades to their squad. Additionally, with Callum Hudson-Odoi's future in question following his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, Raphinha could be an ideal addition to the Blues' attacking line.

Similarly, Newcastle United, under new ownership, are trying to build a more competitive squad. Raphinha could be a key player for Eddie Howe's Magpies as they look to establish themselves as a top-flight team.

While there is no confirmation yet regarding Raphinha's potential departure from Barcelona, it will be interesting to see if either Chelsea or Newcastle make a move for the Brazilian star in the upcoming transfer window.
