Melbourne Renegades will be looking to build on the momentum gained from their victory against Perth Scorchers Scorchers their opening fixture when they take on Sydney Sixers in their second match of the season on Sunday. The Aaron Finch-led side was ruthless against the Scorchers. First, they bowled them out for a paltry total of 130 and then chased down the total with seven wickets and 21 deliveries to spare.

The Sixers, on the other hand, lost their opening fixture to Hobart Hurricanes. Although their top-order came up with a good performance, they lost the match due to some poor death overs bowling and batting. They will look to improve upon those aspects while going into this encounter.

Team News and Player Availability

Sean Abbott, Moises Henriques, Mitchell Starc, and Nathan Lyon will be unavailable for this match once again for the Sixers, as the duo continue to be on Test duty.

As far as things for the Renegades go, the likes of Mohammad Nabi, Imran Tahir, and Imad Wasim will be unavailable for this fixture once again.
