Additionally, Joe Root and Lizelle Lee have been named the Leading Cricketers of the World.
Root has had an outstanding year in which he managed six centuries even though batters around him struggled to get runs. His total of 1,708 runs in a calendar year has been bettered only by Mohammad Yousuf in 2006 and Viv Richards in 1976.
Both Bumrah and Rohit played crucial roles in India's tour of England, where the visitors were ahead by 2-1 when the series was postponed. Rohit scored 83 at Lord's and 127 in challenging conditions at the Oval.
'Rohit Sharma was at the heart of his side's 2-1 lead over England, and played starring roles with the bat at Lord's, where he made an elegant 83 in treacherous conditions, and at The Oval, where his superb 127 helped India overcome a first-innings deficit of 99,' wrote Lawrence Booth, editor of the Wisden Almanac.
