Barbados Royals 93/9 in 20 overs (Mayers 24; Pierre 3-16) lost to Trinbago Knight Riders 99/4 in 16.5 overs (Munro 41; Amir 2-19) by 6 wickets with 19 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Khary Pierre.

Trinbago Knight Riders spinners Khary Pierre (3-16), Akeal Hosein (2-13), and Sunil Narine (2-30) shared seven wickets to help their side beat Barbados Royals by six wickets in Match 23 of the CPL 2021 at Warner Park, St Kitts.

The trio combined along with Jayden Seales to restrict Barbados to 93/9 after Kieron Pollard won the toss and asked them to bat. Kyle Mayers (24 in 12 balls) batted aggressively at the top, but his teams struggled to accelerate throughout the innings.

Coming to the chase, Trinbago lost both Lendl Simmons and Tion Webster to Mohammad Amir inside the opening three overs to find themselves on the back foot. Colin Munro (41* in 47) then anchored the innings, and remained till the end to guide his side reach the target with 19 balls to spare.

Saint Lucia Kings vs Jamaica Tallawahs

Jamaica Tallawahs 211 in 20 overs (Lewis 56; Royal 3-37) beat Saint Lucia Kings 156 in 18.1 overs (Deyal 33; Imad 3-34) by 55 runs. Player of the Match: Kennar Lewis.

Kennar Lewis's 24-ball 56 propelled Jamaica Tallawahs to a commanding 55-run win over Saint Lucia Kings in Match 24 of the CPL 2021 at Warner Park.

Along with Lewis, Shamarh Brooks (32), Andre Russell (31 in 15 balls) and Imad Wasim (27 in 10) chipped in with useful contributions to help Jamaica pile 211 in 20 overs. Jeavor Royal and Kadeem Alleyne claimed three wickets each, but went for more than nine an over.

In reply, Saint Lucia lost Faf du Plessis early. Andre Fletcher (30 in 13) and Mark Deyal (33 in 17) scored runs with urgency, but the rest of their teammates failed to continue that momentum going. As a result, they were bowled out for 156 in 18.1 overs.

Imad returned impressive figures of 3-34, and Carlos Brathwaite (2-13) bowled three tight overs for his two wickets.
