Match 20 of the Caribbean Premier League 2021 will see Barbados Royals, placed at the bottom, take on Guyana Amazon Warriors at Warner Park in St Kitts, on Tuesday, 7 September. The Warriors have won three matches and lost as many in the league.

The sides have met recently, where the Warriors registered a comprehensive nine-wicket win. Batting first, the Royals could only manage 130. Azam Khan’s 28 was the highest score of the innings.

The Royals are having a horrible campaign, with just one win in six attempts. Shai Hope and Johnson Charles have not managed to get them to decent starts. Smit Patel started their campaign with a fluent half-century but got out for a duck against the Warriors.

Jason Holder has had an ordinary season with both bat and ball, while Raymon Reifer has leaked over 10 runs per over from the last two games.

The Warriors chased down 131 in just 14.2 overs, thanks to Chandrapaul Hemraj’s 56-ball 105. Brandon King was back as an opening batter, scoring 19 in 17 balls. They have a solid middle order in Mohammad Hafeez, Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran.

Iman Tahir picked three wickets in the game and Romario Shepherd picked two. Naveen-ul-Haq was replaced by Gudakesh Motie, who gave away just 15 and picked a wicket. Motie will retain his place.

Betway Fantasy Tips

  • Among wicketkeepers, pick both Azam Khan and Nicholas Pooran. Azam has been pretty consistent for the Royals.
  • Hemraj, Hetmyer and Glenn Phillips are ideal batting combinations for your fantasy XI.
  • Holder has not done well this season. Hafeez or Odean Smith are better options as all-rounders.
