Barbados Royals will take on Jamaica Tallawahs again on 1 September, in Match 10 of the Caribbean Premier League 2021, at Warner Park in St Kitts. Both sides met three days ago, where Barbados beat Jamaica by 15 runs.

Barbados began the season with back-to-back defeats, but came back strongly against Jamaica in their third. They brought in Raymon Reifer for Ashley Nurse, and the change paid off. Reifer first played a quickfire 20-ball 31 not out and returned 3-31 to bag the Player of the Match award.

With six wickets in three games at an economy rate of 5.33, Mohammad Amir has been in excellent form. However, Hayden Walsh Jr still remains wicketless. He has not seemed a threat so far for the batters either.

Jamaica dominated their first game against Saint Lucia Kings but lost their rhythm in the next. Their explosive power-hitters – Andre Russell, Rovman Powell, Carlos Brathwaite, and Kennar Lewis – made little impact last time. Shamarh Brooks made 47, but took 45 balls to get there.

Jamaica’s bowling relies heavily on their spinners – Veerasammy Permaul, Imran Khan, and Chris Green. Migael Pretorius, who has claimed five wickets in two games, will be key for their side.

Betway Fantasy Tips

– Bet on Jamaica. They will be desperately looking for revenge.

– Do not ignore Jason Holder from the fantasy XI. He has not at his best yet, but may deliver something spectacular in this match.

– Russell hit the fastest fifty in the CPL history against Saint Lucia, and then fell for a golden duck in the next. Back him for this contest. Make him captain.
