Brandon King and Chanderpaul Hemraj need to provide them with brisk starts for their robust middle-order to consolidate. Odean Smith will retain the No. 3 position after doing well in the first match. He will be followed by the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Shoaib Malik and Nicholas Pooran.
The Patriots top-order possess two of the fiercest strikers of the ball, in Evin Lewis and Chris Gayle. Both, however, need to be deliver consistently. The middle-order duo of Sherfane Rutherford and Dwayne Bravo guided the Patriots to a competitive total. Bravo, however, proved too expensive with the ball.
Fantasy Tips
- Among all-rounders, pick Fabian Allen and Smith. Bravo was superb with bat, but ended up leaking too many runs. Allen and Smith are economical, more likely to take wickets, and are quite good with the bat.
- Among bowlers, go for Imran Tahir and Romario Shepherd.
- Shimron Hetmyer has been quite consistent from last few years. He is a safe bet to have.
