Match 8 of CPL 2021 will have St Kitts & Nevis Patriots hosting Guyana Amazon Warriors at Warner Park on Sunday, 29 August. Both teams squared off against each other a day ago, and the Patriots won that game.

Team News

The Patriots decided to bring in Joshua Da Silva for Chris Gayle. Da Silva was rock solid behind the stumps, and even claimed a stunning catch to remove Shoaib Malik. He is likely to retain his place. After his fifty in the opening game, Sherfane Rutherford was promoted to No. 3. He is likely to play as well, and if that happens, Asif Ali may have to make way for Gayle.

The Warriors were let down by their batting. The opening pair of Brandon King and Chanderpaul Hemraj need to provide a solid start. Shoaib Malik has looked totally out of rhythm so far. Romario Shepherd missed the last game, but is likely to be available for today's game.

Fantasy Tips

  • Mohammad Hafeez scored 38 and was the most economical bowler for the Warriors. He, along with Dwayne Bravo, should be your two all-rounders.
  • Among batters, pick Evin Lewis and Shimron Hetmyer. If Gayle plays, he can be a third option. Otherwise, Rutherford should be the third batter.
  • Dominic Drakes and Fawad Ahmed are must-haves for your fantasy team.
