The Patriots were let down by their bowlers in the last game. Dominic Drakes and Dwayne Bravo leaked 15 an over, while young Naseem Shah conceded 45 in four overs. Only Fawad Ahmed did well, conceding just 23 and picking up a wicket.
The Patriots boast a strong batting unit, and are unlikely to fret over their first defeat of the season. Evin Lewis struck 73 off 42 in the last game. However, they need to reassess decisions like promoting Ravi Bopara ahead of Sherfane Rutherford and Fabian Allen.
