Pucovski suffers another concussion in training

Will Pucovski suffered another concussion during a warm-up session ahead of the Sheffield Shield match between South Australia and Victoria. He complained about concussion symptoms to the medical staff while fielding. This was the 11th concussion he has suffered in his career. The series of injuries has prevented him from from adding another Test cap to his debut against India last season.

'Pucovski reported concussion symptoms to medical staff while fielding in the first session of play this morning,' Cricket Victoria said in a statement.

Ireland beat Oman by nine wickets

Ireland beat Oman by nine wickets in the third match of the Oman Quadrangular T20I series, at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground. Fifties from Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie helped Ireland chase 138 in 17.1 overs. Stirling forged a 101-run opening stand with Balbirnie before getting out on 51, while Balbirnie remained unbeaten on 75.

Earlier, Mark Adair and Simi Singh picked up three wickets each to bowl out Oman for 137. 

New Zealand beat India in first ODI

New Zealand beat India by 62 runs in the first Women's ODI at John Davies Oval in Queenstown. Chasing 276, India were bowled out for 213. Barring Mithali Raj (59) and Yastika Bhatia (41), none of the Indians managed to put up any resistance. For New Zealand, Jess Kerr finished with a four-wicket haul.

Earlier, Suzie Bates scored 106 in 111 balls and Amy Satterthwaite made 63 as New Zealand were bowled out for 275.

Ishan, Avesh, Hasaranga grab eye-popping deals

On Day 1 of the mega-auction for the Indian Premier League 2022, Ishan Kishan grabbed headlines after becoming the second-most expensive Indian buy in the league's history. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for INR 15.25 crores.

Avesh Khan was acquired by Lucknow Super Giants, and Prasidh Krishna by Rajasthan Royals, for INR 10 crores each. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Wanindu Hasaranga for INR 10.75 crores.
