We know he is in the best care, and hope he pulls through and is able to make a full and speedy recovery,' said WA Cricket CEO Christina Matthews.

Shakib Al Hasan will join the Legends of Rupganj for the rest of the Dhaka Premier League in order to remain match fit for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. Shakib changed his decision after Mohammedan Sporting Club failed to qualify for the playoffs.

'He will be available from our next game. It is not due to our league standing (that I am picking him) but the relationship I have with him and he wanted to play (to get some match practice) as he has some (international) matches lined up,' Lutfur Rahman Badal told Cricbuzz.
