Mosharraf Hossain pass away due to brain tumour

Former Bangladesh left-arm spinner Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain passed away at the age of 40, on Tuesday, 19 April. He played five ODIs between 2008 and 2016. He also had an illustrious First-class career, in which he scored 3,305 runs at 39.30 and picked up 392 wickets at 29.03 apiece.

Pakistan to tour Netherlands in August 

Pakistan are set to tour the Netherlands for a three-match ODI series, which will be a part of the ICC ODI World Cup Super League. The teams have met only thrice, and this is going to be the first bilateral series. 

'We are pleased that with the support of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB), we have been able to reschedule the series, which is important to the growth and development of cricket in Netherlands as well as to the two teams' chances of progressing directly to the 2023 World Cup,' said PCB Director of International Cricket Zakir Khan.

DC vs RR game to be played at Wankhede Stadium

Match 34 of the IPL 2022, between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals, has been shifted from MCA Stadium to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The need to change the venue arose after the seventh member of Delhi's contingent tested positive for the Coronavirus. The seven members include two cricketers, Mitchell Marsh and Tim Seifert.

The rest of the Capitals squad returned negative in the RT-PCR test, and beat Punjab Kings by nine wickets at the Brabourne Stadium.

Kieron Pollard retires from international cricket

Kieron Pollard has decided to retire from international cricket with immediate effect. Pollard is currently with Mumbai Indians, and he will continue to play franchise-level T20 cricket. Pollard played 123 ODIs and 101 T20Is for West Indies.

'Hi all, after careful deliberation, I have decided to retire from international cricket. It was a dream of mine to play for West Indies since I was a 10-year-old boy and I am proud to represent the West Indies for over 15 years in T20 and ODI format of the game,' Pollard wrote on his Instagram page.
