Foakes clears concussion test to help Surrey win

Ben Foakes had suffered a serious injury during the County Championship match. When Tom Banton of Somerset edged Reece Topley of Surrey, wicketkeeper Foakes and first slip Jamie Overton both went for the catch. Foakes held on to the catch, but his head collided with Overton's shoulder. He had to leave the ground, and undergo subsequent concussion tests.

Surrey needed 237 to win, and Foakes, having cleared the tests, walked out at 106/3. He remained there until the end with an unbeaten 48 to help Surrey win by three wickets.
