Pakistan beat India in Under-19 Asia Cup

Pakistan beat India by two wickets in the ACC U19 Asia Cup, at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai. Ahmad Khan (29 off 19) struck a four on the last ball to take Pakistan home. Earlier, Muhammad Shehzad set the foundation with a 105-ball 81. For India, Raj Bawa took four wickets. 

India got off to a poor start, losing four wickets for just 41. Aaradhya Yadav scored 50. while Kaushal Tambe (32) and Rajvardhan Hangargekar (33) chipped in with vital contributions to take India to 237. Zeeshan Zameer took five wickets for Pakistan.

First ODI between USA and Ireland cancelled 

The first ODI between the USA and Ireland has been cancelled due to Covid-19 cases in the camp. One of the match officials tested positive, while some others were identified as his close contacts. The next two games, however, will go on as planned.

'Cricket Ireland will continue to work closely with USA Cricket, alongside the ICC, to ensure the remainder of the series can continue, if safe to do so,' a USA Cricket release said.

England make four changes for third Ashes Test

England has made four changes for the third Ashes Test, with Jonny Bairstow, Zak Crawley, Mark Wood and Jack Leach replacing Rory Burns, Ollie Pope, Chris Woakes and Stuart Broad. Bairstow is likely to keep wickets.

Bangladesh beat Kuwait by 222 runs

Bangladesh bat Kuwait by 222 runs in the ongoing Under-19 Asia Cup. They rode on a century from Mahfijul Islam to post 291 before bowling out Kuwait for 69. Ripon Mondal picked three wickets, while S.M. Meherob and Rakibul Hasan picked up two wickets each. They will now face Sri Lanka on 28 December.
