Sonny Ramadhin dies aged 92

Sonny Ramadhin has passed away aged 92, confirmed the Friarmere Cricket Club. Ramadhin, the first player of Indian origin to play for the West Indies, claimed 158 wickets in 43 Test matches. He and Alf Valentine, hailed as "those two little pals of mine" in the famous calypso Cricket, lovely cricket, shared 69 wickets between them to help West Indies win their first series in England in 1950.

Ramadhin also played for Lancashire after he was dropped from the national side. He settled in England. His grandson Kyle Hogg also played for Lancashire.

Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali ruled out of Australia Test series

Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali have been ruled out of the upcoming Test series versus Australia. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Wasim Jr as their replacements. Both men have to go mandatory self-isolation of three days before joining the squad.

India complete 3-0 clean sweep over Sri Lanka

Shreyas Iyer registered his third successive unbeaten half-century of the series to drive India to a six-wicket win in the third T20I. Iyer's 73 not out, consisting of nine fours and a six, helped India chase down 147 in 16.5 overs.

Earlier, Mohammed Siraj and Avesh Khan set the tone with their opening spells, reducing Sri Lanka to 11/3 in four overs. Dasun Shanaka's 38-ball 74 then propelled them to 146/5.

South Africa finished Day 3 on 140/5 after bowling out New Zealand for 293 in the first innings. Kagiso Rabada claimed five wickets and Marco Jansen four, but Colin de Grandhomme lifted New Zealand with an unbeaten 120.

South Africa then lost Saral Erwee, Dean Elgar, and Aiden Markram early. Temba Bavuma and Rassie van der Dussen led the recovery with a 65-run stand before both fell to Neil Wagner. Kyle Verreynne (22) and Wiaan Mulder (10) are at the crease, with South Africa leading by 211 runs.
