Bangalore beat Rajasthan by four wickets

Royal Challengers Bangalore won their second consecutive game in IPL 2022. They beat Rajasthan Royals by with five balls to spare Match 13 of the Indian Premier League 2022.

Chasing 170, Bangalore were reduced to 87/5 before Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed saw them through. Shahbaz made 45 in 26 balls, while Karthik remained unbeaten on 44. Earlier in the night, Jos Buttler continued his fine form, scoring an unbeaten 70, while Shimron Hetmyer made 42.

Australia beat Pakistan by three wickets

Australia chased down 163 in the T20I set by Pakistan with three wickets and five balls remaining to sign off the tour on a winning note. Travis Head and Aaron Finch got them off to a breezy start before Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis, and Ben McDermott added valuable runs to ensure a comfortable win.

For Pakistan, Babar Azam scored 66 in 46 balls, but his teammates were unable to do much. Nathan Ellis finished with four wickets. 

Healy climbs to No. 1 in ICC ODI rankings for batters

Alyssa Healy's century in the ODI Women's World Cup final against England took her to the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings for batters. Laura Wolvaardt, meanwhile, has slipped to fourth place.

England's Nat Sciver leapfrogged Ellyse Perry to become the top-ranked all-rounder in the ODI. She scored an unbeaten 148 in the final. Smriti Mandhana and Mithali Raj are the only two Indian batters ranked inside the top ten. 

Williamson to make Test comeback against England

Kane Williamson is likely to make a Test comeback in the upcoming three-match Test series against England, reckons head coach Garry Stead. Williamson missed the entire homer summer due to a recurrent elbow injury. 

'Everything's going to plan in terms of how he's feeling and how he's preparing,' said Stead. 'He's on track with where we want him to be, with our view of getting him ready for the Test match series in England.'
