New Zealand announce ODI, T20I squads for Netherlands series

New Zealand announced ODI and T20I squads for their upcoming white-ball series against the Netherlands. The three ODIs, beginning from 29 March, will be the farewell series for Ross Taylor. New Zealand will miss several key players as they will be playing in the IPL at that time.

Pholetsi Moseki announced CSA CEO

Cricket South Africa (CSA) named Pholetsi Moseki as their permanent CEO for the next five years. Moseki was already working in the same capacity from December 2020, albeit on an interim basis.

Moseki highlighted that finance will be his priority: 'Finance is an important priority for us. The environment has totally changed. The economy is quite tough, not only for cricket but for the other sporting codes as well.'

England beat India by four wickets

England beat India by 4 wickets to finally break their winless streak of three games in the Women's World Cup. They chased down 135 in 31.2 overs, with Heather Knight scoring an unbeaten 53 and Nat Sciver getting 45 in 46 balls. Earlier, Charlotte Dean (4-23) helped bowl them India for 134 in 36.2 overs. Other than Smriti Mandhana (35) and Richa Ghosh (33), none of the batters score more than 30 runs.

Pakistan draw Karachi Test

Pakistan rode on centuries from Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to draw the second Test match, at the National Stadium in Karachi. Chasing 506 to win or bat for nearly twelve hours, Pakistan finished on 443/7.

Babar eventually fell to Nathan Lyon for 196, while Rizwan remained unbeaten on 104. Lyon finished with four wickets and Pat Cummins two.
