BCCI extend deadline for NCA’s Head of Cricket post

Rahul Dravid’s tenure as Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) ended in July. Dravid was appointed in 2019 for a period of two years, and there is no provision for an extension as per protocols.

Dravid reapplied for the same earlier this month. PTI reported that he has been the sole applicant for the post so far, and the deadline has been extended.

Dravid did a commendable job in honing junior players, and is likely to retain the post. He was also the head coach of the limited-overs squad that toured Sri Lanka last month.
