Pakistan beat Bangladesh by eight wickets

Pakistan completed their chase of 203 inside the first session on Day 5 at Chattogram, losing the wickets of Abid Ali (91) and Abdullah Shafique (73). The wickets went to Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam. Abid was adjudged Player of the Match for his 133 and 91.

IPL 2022 retentions announced by franchise

The retention list of each franchise for IPL 2022 has been announced by the BCCI. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson were retained by their respective franchises. Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to convince Rashid Khan to be retained, while K.L. Rahul also parted ways with Punjab Kings.

Bangladesh announce squad for second Test

Shakib Al Hasan and Taskin Ahmed return to the side as Bangladesh announced a 20-member squad for the second Test, slated to begin from 4 December. Bangladesh suffered an eight-wicket loss in the first Test.

South Africa A finish on 233/7

In the second unofficial Test match, the South Africa A batters failed to make the most of their starts, and they finished Day 1 on 233/7. They lost an early wicket, of Pieter Malan, before Sarel Erwee and Raynard van Tonder added 72 for the second wicket. George Linde scored 44, while Marco Jansen is unbeaten on 38.

For India A, Ishan Porel and Navdeep Saini claimed two wickets each.
