Delhi Capitals retain 19 players, release four ahead of IPL 2023 mini-auction Image

Before the upcoming Indian Premier League 2023 mini-auction, which is scheduled to take place later this year, Delhi Capitals provided a list of players who had been retained and released on Tuesday. Six international players are among the 19 players that the Delhi-based team has kept.

Indian internationals Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Chetan Sakariya, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel, as well as Ripal Patel, Sarfaraz Khan, Yash Dhull, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Pravin Dubey, Vicky Ostwal, and Lalit Yadav, are among the players the team has kept from their fifth-place finish in the previous season.

The Delhi Capitals have also kept six foreign players, including Mitchell Marsh from Australia, Rovman Powell from the West Indies, Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi from South Africa, Mustafizur Rahman from Bangladesh, and Mitchell Warner from Australia.

In the meantime, the team has discharged four players: Tim Seifert from New Zealand, Mandeep Singh from India, KS Bharat and Ashwin Hebbar from India.

Additionally, the Delhi Capitals acquired all-rounder Aman Khan in place of all-rounder Shardul Thakur, who was sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders.
