With comfortable wins at Bristol and Taunton, England Women went up 2-0 in the ODI series against India Women. However, India clinched a thriller at New Road to secure two points. England still lead the series 6 points to 4, but India do have a chance to win, or at least draw, the series. The three T20Is are worth two points apiece. Here is how the England cricketers did.

Sophie Ecclestone: 9 (M 3, W 8, Ave 13.62, Econ 3.63)

Ecclestone bowled with impeccable control, even in the death overs. She deceived batters in both in the air and off the pitch, and had the numbers to show for her performance. A deserving Player of the Series.

Nat Sciver: 9 (M 3, R 142, Ave 71, SR 88, W 2, Econ 4.65)

Sciver got a fifty in the first match, a cameo in the second, and a brisk 49 in the third. She also picked up two wickets, and was one of England’s several key performers in the series.

Sophia Dunkley: 8.5 (M 3, R 101, Ave 101, SR 87)

As with her Test debut, Dunkley demonstrated composure in her maiden ODI innings. She kept finding the singles as well as the boundary, and converted a potentially tricky chase into a comfortable one.

Kate Cross: 8.5 (M 3, W 7, Ave 13.57, Econ 3.80, SR 178)

After a quiet first match, Cross picked up five wickets in the second ODI and two early wickets in the third. Gets half a point for the slogs towards the end in the third match.

Tammy Beaumont: 8 (M 3, R 97, Ave 48.50, SR 92)

Beaumont paced her innings beautifully during the chase in the first match, helping England win by eight wickets. However, she lost form thereafter.

Katherine Brunt: 7 (M 3, W 2, Econ 4.90, R 39, SR 71)

Brunt was at her probing best in the first match, but not as incisive in the other two. Gets half a point for her role during the chase in the second ODI.

Lauren Winfield-Hill: 7 (M 3, R 94, Ave 31.33, SR 73)

Winfield-Hill got three starts but could not go on to score a fifty. However, between them, she and Beaumont are as formidable a pair as any.

Anya Shrubsole: 6.5 (M 3, W 2, Econ 4.25)

Shrubsole bowled accurately, especially in the Powerplay overs. She probably deserved more wickets than the two she got.

Heather Knight: 4.5 (M 3, R 74, Ave 24.67, W 1)

A quiet series for Knight. She got 46 in the third ODI, but that was about it. The half point is for her wicket in same match.

Amy Jones: 4 (M 3, R 45, Ave 22.50, C 3, S 2)

Jones kept wickets beautifully, but was not at her best in front of the stumps.

Sarah Glenn: 4 (M 3, W 1, Econ 4.65)

England backed Glenn for all three matches. She did a decent job, despite not picking up wickets.
