Barring Jade Allen, who made an unbeaten 33, none of the Sapphires batters could manage anything substantial. Earlier, Spirit lost three quick wickets before Bismah Maroof and Nicola Carey steadied the innings. Carey made 70 in 43 balls, while Maroof remained unbeaten on 40.

Barmy Army vs Tornadoes
Barmy Army defeated Tornadoes by eight wickets in Match 9 of the Fairbreak Invitational Tournament. They chased down 151 with 25 balls remaining, thanks to an unbeaten 56 from Deandra Dottin. For the Tornadoes, Stafanie Taylor scored 78 in 54 balls, while Sune Luus made 66. Only four wickets fell in the entire match, of which three were run out, Sita Rana Magar of the Tornadoes taking the other wicket.
Tornadoes 150/2 in 20 overs (Stafanie Taylor 78) lost to Barmy Army 153/2 in 15.5 overs (Deandra Dottin 56; Sita Rana Magar 1-24) by 8 wickets with 25 balls to spare.
