After an outstanding individual performance against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022, star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya rose eight spots in the most recent ICC T20I all-rounder rankings, which were revealed on Wednesday. Pandya now holds the fifth-best position of his career.

In their opening Asia Cup match on Sunday, India defeated Pakistan by five wickets behind bowler Hardik Pandya's 3/25 with the ball and 33 not out off just 17 balls.

His memorable performance also demonstrated how important the 28-year-old will be to India's T20 World Cup campaign in Australia later this year.

Afghanistan's explosive start to the competition hasn't gone ignored, either; several players have been rewarded in the most recent rankings.

Rashid Khan moved up two spots to third (708 points) over fellow leg-spinners Adil Rashid and Adam Zampa, which has aided his bid for the No. 1 bowler title. Rashid is aiming for left-arm wrist-spinner Tabraiz Shamsi (716) next, but Josh Hazlewood (792) has a big lead at the top of the list.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman, a fellow countryman of Rashid, moved up seven spots to join the top-10. He is now pipped for eighth place by Bhuvneshwar Kumar (661), whose 4/26 against Pakistan enabled the Men in Blue win.

No new players entered the top-10 T20I batting rankings, but Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan moved up to second (796) to join Babar Azam (810) in the top two spots.

Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan scored 23 (26), and 37 (28), which helped him move up three spots to 14th (611). Rahmanullah Gurbaz, a teammate, rose five positions to take the position of 29.

Moving up in all three Test ranking lists was a result of Ben Stokes' contribution to England's victory against South Africa, which also caused changes in the other two formats.

Stokes rose two ranks to second on the all-rounder list, nine spots to 18th in the batting rankings (668), and five spots to 38th in the bowling rankings (540) after scoring a century and taking 2/17 and 2/30. (360). With a score of 384, Ravindra Jadeja continues to lead.

Although there were shuffles further down after the first ODI match between Australia and Zimbabwe, there were no notable moves in the top-10.

Wesley Madhevere moved up 38 positions as a result of his half-century in Townsville, and fellow Zimbabwean Richard Ngarava advanced in the bowling rankings. The teenage all-rounder advanced 56 spots in the all-rounder list and 82 spots in the bowling rankings following a good performance in Australia's victory.
