Contrary to earlier reports suggesting that the India vs. Pakistan match on 15th October in Ahmedabad would be rescheduled due to its clash with the start of Navratri, Shah clarified that hosting the match on the said date is not a problem. Instead, the changes in schedule are being driven by "logistical challenges" faced by specific cricket boards, making it difficult for teams to manage matches with minimal gaps for travel and recovery.

Due to the ongoing revision of the schedule, ticket sales for the highly-anticipated World Cup have been put on hold. However, fans can expect a joint announcement from BCCI and ICC regarding ticket availability next week, once the revised schedule is confirmed.
