Group B
Bangladesh registered an 84-run win against Papua New Guinea to seal their spot in the Super 12. They scored 181/7 and bowled out PNG for 87 to finish second in the group. Shakib Al Hasan scored 46 in 37 balls before picking up four wickets. PNG, meanwhile, finished last in the group in their first ever ICC tournament.
Later that night, Scotland easily chased down 123 against Oman to walk into the Super 12 without losing a match in the first round. Oman were eliminated in the process.
