Sri Lanka vs Pakistan

Pakistan 365/3 in 50 overs (Haseebullah Khan 136, Qasim Akram 135*; Matheesha Pathirana 2-62) beat Sri Lanka 127 in 34.2 overs (Dunith Wellalage 40; Qasim Akram 5-37) by 238 runs. Player of the Match: Qasim Akram.

In the Fifth Place Playoff of the Under-19 World Cup, Qasim Akram became the first cricketer to score a hundred and take five wickets in the same Under-19 ODI.

Pakistan rode on Qasim's 135 not out and Haseebullah Khan's 136 to defeat Sri Lanka by 238 runs at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. Pakistan set a target of 366, and Akram later claimed 5-37 to bowl out Sri Lanka for 127. For Sri Lanka, Wellalage top-scored with 40.

South Africa vs Bangladesh

Bangladesh 293/8 in 50 overs (Ariful Islam 102; Kwena Maphaka 3-55) lost to South Africa 298/8 in 48.5 overs (Dewald Brevis 138; SM Meherob 2-48) by 2 wickets with 7 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Dewald Brevis

Dewald Brevis struck a hundred to help South Africa beat Bangladesh by two wickets at Coolidge Cricket Ground. South Africa chased down 294 in 48.5 overs. Brewis struck 11 fours and 7 sixes in his 130-ball 138, while Matthew Boast scored a quick 41, to ensure the seventh place for South Africa.

Earlier, Ariful Islam scored 102 off 103 to take Bangladesh to a stiff total of 293/8. Md  Fahim and S.M. Meherob struck 36 each. For South Africa, Kwena Maphaka took three wickets.
