Uganda beat Scotland by 51 runs via the DLS Method at the Diego Martin Sports Complex. Chasing a readjusted target of 222 in 36 overs, Scotland were bowled out for 170. Ronald Lutaaya was adjudged the Player of the Match for his 78-ball 64. 

Lutaaya forged crucial partnerships with Ronald Opio and Pascal Murungi, who missed out on his fifty by a run. Jamie Cairns took 6-24 for Scotland.

Juma Miyaji struck twice in his first two overs to reduce Scotland to 7/2. Their innings never gathered momentum, as they kept losing regular wickets. Miyaji finished with four wickets, while Christopher Kidega took three.
