Raj Bawa and Angkrish Raghuvanshi's hundreds helped India beat Uganda by 326 runs at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. Uganda were bowled out for 79 while chasing 406.

Raghuvanshi struck 22 fours and four sixes en route a 120-ball 144, while Bawa's unbeaten 162, which is also the highest score by an Indian in the history of the tournament, comprised of 14 fours and eight sixes. The record previously belonged to Shikhar Dhawan, who smashed 155 against Scotland in 2004.

Raghuvanshi and Bawa added 206 for the third wicket after India lost their second wicket on 85. Harnoor Singh, Kaushal Tambe, and Nishant Sandhu scored 15 each. For Uganda, Pascal Murungi took three wickets.

Rajvardhan Hangargekar then got Cyrus Kakuru for a golden duck. In his next over, he dismissed Brian Asaba to reduce Uganda to 12/2. Wickets kept falling regularly except for a brief interval when Murungi was at the crease.

Murungi played 45 balls for his 34 before Sindhu (4-19) pinned him leg before. Ronald Opio scored 11, while the rest of the batters failed to reach double figures. As many as six batters were unable to open their accounts.
