Australia beat Bangladesh by five wickets to register their seventh successive victory in the ICC Women's World Cup. After being reduced to 41/4, they rode on Beth Mooney's unbeaten 66 to chase down 136 in 32.1 overs. Salma Khatun claimed three wickets for Bangladesh.
Australia finished at the top of the group, while South Africa are set to finish at second place. They have obviously qualified for the semi-finals. With three wins and as many defeats, West indies are third, and will qualify only if either India or England lose their last matches. New Zealand, too, have a mathematical chance of qualification. Bangladesh and Pakistan have managed one win each in six attempts.
