New Zealand 228 in 47.5 overs (Sophie Devine 93; Shabnim Ismail 3-27) lost to South Africa 229/8 in 49.3 overs (Laura Wolvaardt 67; Amelia Kerr 3-50) by 3 wickets with 3 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Marizanne Kapp

South Africa beat New Zealand by three wickets at Seddon Park to register their fourth successive win of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup. Marizanne Kapp was adjudged Player of the Match for her two wickets and an unbeaten 34 that helped South Africa chase 229 with three balls remaining.

With six needed off the final over, Kapp struck a four on the first ball and followed it with a single to level the scores. Ayabonga Khaka then finished the job with a single to take South Africa's unbeaten streak to four matches.

Before that, Laura Wolvaardt and Sune Luus had added 88 for the second wicket. Wolvaardt scored 67 in 94 balls, while Luus made 51 before falling to Hannah Rowe. 

For New Zealand, Amelia Kerr claimed three wickets. She also scored 42, and forged an 81-run stand with Sophie Devine (91) after they lost Suzie Bates early. Shabnim Ismail and Ayabonga Khaka claimed three wickets each for South Africa.
