India's talented batter, Prithvi Shaw, recently shared his experiences dealing with criticism and the challenges of staying in the public eye. Shaw revealed that he has started to enjoy his solitude and prefers to be alone due to the relentless harassment he faces whenever he steps out in public.

Shaw's journey to the top was seemingly effortless, winning the Under-19 World Cup as captain and making a striking international debut with a Test century. Despite his impressive performances, the 22-year-old has struggled to secure a permanent spot in the national side.

Having not played an international match in the last two years, Shaw faced disappointment when he was dropped from the Indian team. He expressed his frustration at not being informed of the exact reasons behind his exclusion. Though he made a comeback to the T20 team after clearing all fitness tests at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, he was left disheartened by not getting a chance to play during the West Indies tour.

"As a person, I just like to be in my own zone. People say a lot of things about me. But those who know me, know how I am," Shaw disclosed in an interview with Cricbuzz. He further mentioned that he prefers not to make many friends and is cautious about sharing his thoughts, as everything tends to surface on social media.

The constant scrutiny and negative attention have made Shaw more comfortable in his own company, leading him to avoid stepping out in public altogether. He expressed concerns about being harassed and having his personal moments captured and shared on social media. This has led him to find solace in solitude, choosing to go for lunches and dinners alone.

Despite the challenges, Shaw is all set to embrace a new cricketing experience by joining Northamptonshire for the remainder of the County Cricket season in England. He will also be a part of the Royal London One-Day Cup, commencing in August.

As Shaw embarks on this new chapter in his cricketing journey, fans hope that he will find his stride and regain his form, ultimately making a strong comeback to the Indian team.
