Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith have been ruled out of the rest of the Indian Premier League 2021. Punjab Kings have roped in another Australian fast bowler, Nathan Ellis, as their replacement. Ellis bagged a hat-trick on T20I debut against Bangladesh this month. He is also in the reserves for the ICC T20 World Cup.
