Mumbai Indians

Mumbai have not made any additions to their squad yet. They have started training in the UAE, and are unlikely to bring anyone as their all players are available for the remainder of the season.

Chennai have already confirmed Josh Hazlewood’s return for the second leg of the campaign. They too have reached the UAE and started training sessions, like Mumbai.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata will miss the services of Pat Cummins for the rest of the tournament. Cummins was in fine form both with ball and bat earlier in the campaign before it was suspended, but will not take part in the UAE leg due to the bio-bubble fatigue. Kolkata have not announced Cummins’ replacement yet.

Rajasthan have roped in Glenn Phillips for Jos Buttler. Buttler and his wife are expecting their second child. They may soon make more additions to replace Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Hyderabad fans were worried about the availability of Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi following the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. The franchise assured them by announcing the duo will join the squad in the UAE on 1 September.

Hyderabad have not confirmed anything on Mitchell Marsh’s return yet. During the first half, they signed Jason Roy for Marsh.

Punjab have brought Nathan Ellis as one of the replacements of Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith. Satish Menon, the franchise’s CEO, confirmed Cricbuzz they will announce another player’s signing soon.
