The three ICC Women's Championship 2022-25 matches (ODIs) from November 4–9, which will be followed by three T20Is from November 12–16, will be the first time the Ireland women's cricket team visits Pakistan.
The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will serve as the venue for all six of the games.
In preparation for the ODI series, the visitors will spend four days practising in Lahore beginning on October 29.
This ICC Women's Championship series will be Ireland and Pakistan's second straight. While Ireland lost all three games to South Africa in Dublin in June, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 in Karachi in the same month.
Following tours by the men's sides of Australia, the West Indies, and England in 2018, Ireland will be the fourth international cricket team to visit Pakistan in 2022. The English men's team will arrive back in December for the tests, while the New Zealand men's team will arrive in the third week of December for the two tests and three one-day internationals, with the first one taking place in Karachi from December 27 to December 31.
"We had a terrific experience hosting Sri Lanka earlier this year in Karachi, and we are now pleased to host Ireland here at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore," said Tania Mallick, head of women's cricket. Women's cricket is entering a new age, and after hosting Ireland, we look forward to setting up a women's league shortly.
"For what promises to be an entertaining six days of cricket in Lahore, we encourage supporters to come to the ground and support women's cricket."
Captain of Pakistan Bismah Maroof said: "Against Ireland, we are all excited for a thrilling series. We'll be able to draw more people to the women's game with the support of the series. Young cricketers will have the chance to improve their skills in order to meet the requirements of international cricket during the series. We are motivated to perform in front of our home crowd and earn significant ICC Women's Championship points because one of our key goals is to qualify directly for the upcoming ODI World Cup."
