Thankfully, the mandated seven-day isolation period for 10 Stars players, including Adam Zampa, Marcus Stoinis and Nathan Coulter-Nile, and eight coaching staff to contract the virus in the initial outbreak will end soon. They will be available to play against Adelaide Strikers on 7 January.

Five BBL clubs have already reported Covid-19 cases. In fact, Perth Scorchers played instead of Brisbane Heat, against Sydney Sixers in Match 34 on 4 January. The Heat were forced to pull out after multiple Covid-19 cases in their camp.
