The clash between London Spirit and Welsh Fire was the last game of the league stage of the Hundred. Welsh Fire won the match by three wickets to avoid the bottom place in the points table. Glenn Phillips’ 35-ball 80 helped the Fire chase down 164 after they lost three wickets for just 20 runs. Eoin Morgan’s London Spirit finished last, with one win in eight attempts.
With two wins in six matches, Birmingham Phoenix finished at the top of the points table. Southern Brave and Trent Rockets, placed second and third, will clash in the Eliminator. Oval Invincibles finished at fourth place, with nine points in eight games.
