Most Runs

Despite his 38-ball 53 against New Zealand in the final, David Warner fell 14 runs short of Babar Azam's 303 (at 126). Warner finished at second place, with 289 runs at 147. Mohammad Rizwan (281 at 128), Jos Buttler (269 at 151) and Charith Asalanka (231 at 147) occupied the next three spots.

Most Wickets

With 16 scalps at an economy rate of 5.2, Wanindu Hasaranga finished as the leading wicket-taker of the T20 World Cup. Adam Zampa and Trent Boult were joint second, with 13 wickets each. Josh Hazlewood's 3-16 in the final helped him finish at joint fourth, alongside Shakib Al Hasan. They got 11 wickets each.
