India v Australia

Australia 152/5 in 20 overs (Steven Smith 57; R. Ashwin 2-8) lost to India 153/1 in 17.5 overs (Rohit Sharma 60; Ashton Agar 1-14) by 9 wickets with 13 balls to spare.

India beat Australia by nine wickets in their warm-up match in Dubai. R. Ashwin, Rahul Chahar starred with ball as they restricted Australia to 152/5 after they opted to bat. Steven Smith scored a 48-ball 57.

Coming to chase, Rohit Sharma (60) and K.L. Rahul (39) added 68 for the opening wicket to set the tone. Suryakumar Yadav (38*) carried the momentum, and guided India reach the target with 13 balls to spare.

England v New Zealand

England 163/6 in 20 overs (Jos Buttler 73; Ish Sodhi 3-26) beat New Zealand 150 in 19.2 overs (Martin Guptill 41; Mark Wood 4-23) by 13 runs.

Mark Wood and Adil Rashid shared seven wickets to help England register a 13-run win against New Zealand in their final warm-up match in Abu Dhabi. Earlier, they rode on Jos Buttler’s 51-ball 73 to reach 163/6. Ish Sodhi returned 3-26.

New Zealand slipped to 103/9, but took the game to the last over, thanks to Sodhi’s 16-ball 25 not out and Todd Astle 13-ball 16. Martin Guptill raced to 41 off 20 balls, but did not receive any support.

Afghanistan v West Indies

Afghanistan 189/5 in 20 overs (Hazratullah Zazai 56; Obed McCoy 2-43) beat West Indies 133/5 in 20 overs (Roston Chase 54*; Mohammad Nabi 3-2) by 56 runs.

Mohammad Nabi returned excellent figures of 4-2-2-3 in Afghanistan’s warm-up match against West Indies. Nabi, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Rashid Khan bowled tightly, as they restricted West Indies to 133/5 after asking them to chase 190.

Earlier in the evening, Hazratullah Zazai (56), Mohammad Shahzad (54) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (33) helped Afghanistan pile 189/5.

Pakistan v South Africa

Pakistan 186/6 in 20 overs (Fakhar Zaman 52; Kagiso Rabada 3-26) lost to South Africa 190/4 in 20 overs (Rassie van der Dussen 101*; Imad Wasim 2-19) by 6 wickets with 0 balls to spare.

Rassie van der Dussen’s unbeaten 51-ball 101, laced with 10 fours and four sixes, guided South Africa chase 187 against Pakistan off the last ball of the contest. Van der Dussen struck back-to-back fours off the final two deliveries, bowled by Hasan Ali to take South Africa home with six wickets in hand.

Earlier, Fakhar Zaman top-scored with 52 in Pakistan’s 186/6. Asif Ali scorted 32 off 18 balls.
