The assault of Netherlands will feature players like Brandon Glover, Timm van der Gugten, Logan van Beek, and Paul van Meekeren during the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in October and November of this year.

Roelof van der Merwe, a 37-year-old all-rounder, and Colin Ackermann, a right-handed batter, were both re-named to the Dutch team on Tuesday. The two were important additions to the Dutch team that just played a home T20I series against New Zealand.

A strong all-rounder who can also bowl medium pace, Ackermann will assist the team's captain Scott Edwards.

For the 2019 T20 World Cup, we have put together a well-balanced group with an exciting mix of youth and experience, according to head coach Ryan Cook, who was quoted by ICC.

The team will benefit from having played in the Super League, and these performances should give them confidence.

As Cook said, "We will seek to carry over the development that was seen throughout the summer into the competition and have some excellent training planned before to the event which will assist the group's readiness in both skills and cohesion."

Through the T20 World Cup Qualifier in Bulawayo, Netherlands qualified for the T20 World Cup in Australia. By participating in the final of the qualifying, Netherlands secured their spot in Australia even though they lost to Zimbabwe in the final.
