Papua New Guinea vs United States of America, 1st ODI: Preview, Bltzpools fantasy tips, probable XIs Image

Papua New Guinea will be taking on the United States of America in the first ODI of the two-match series at AI Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman, on Monday, 6 September.

PNG have not played an ODI series for the last two years, since a bilateral series against Namibia in 2019. However, they have played T20Is, and qualified for the T20 World Cup for the first time. Assad Vala will lead them in the series, and will bat at No. 3, after Tony Ura and Gaudi Toka.

The USA, meanwhile, have been played more regularly, as recently as against Nepal this year. Unfortunately, they were bowled out for just 35, and Nepal chased down with eight wickets remaining.

The last time both sides met was in September 2019, and the USA won that game by 62 runs. Overall, an exciting clash awaits as two emerging sides square off against each other.
