India Legends will play West Indies Legends in game six of the Road Safety World Series 2022 on Wednesday at Green Park Stadium in this city after both teams won their initial matches.

The addition of West Indies Legends captain Brian Lara will strengthen the team, which defeated Bangladesh by a score of 9 wickets in their season opener. Lara landed in Kanpur on Monday after missing the initial game owing to personal circumstances.

In front of a crowded stadium, the Sachin Tendulkar-captained India Legends team defeated the South Africa Legends last on Saturday with a commanding 61-run victory. In the previous game, the reigning champs checked off every box because their batting, bowling, and fielding were all up to par.

Although Tendulkar and Naman Ojha, India Legends' opening duo, failed to give their team a brilliant start during the powerplay and were quickly dispatched by South Africa Legends. Fans would be looking for a strong performance from the master blaster as well as from local lad Suresh Raina, who recently had a great cameo.

With their powerful hitting abilities, Stuart Binny and Yusuf Pathan hope to challenge West Indian bowlers in the final overs.

Irfan Pathan, Manpreet Gony, and Munaf Patel make up India's respectable speed attack, and Pragyan Ojha and Rahul Sharma make up its similarly formidable spin unit, giving the bowling unit a balanced appearance.

The West Indies Legends would also repeat their performance from the first game, fresh off a significant victory over Bangladesh. Acting captain Dwyane Smith, pacers Krishmar Santokie and Darren Powell, as well as the player who scored the game-winning fifty, would like to perform well against the home team. It won't be simple for the Indians to chase down their spinners, Dave Mohammed, Devendra Bishoo, and Suleiman Benn, who are all equally dangerous in this format.

India Legends defeated West Indies Legends in the inaugural match by a margin of 12 runs. India has won 17 of the 25 T20Is between these two sides, while West Indies has triumphed seven times. In one game, there was no winner.
