In an effort to reduce plastic waste, Rohit Sharma teamed up with German sportswear juggernaut adidas to introduce a small Sustainable Apparel Collection.

This line continues the long-standing cooperation and dedication to eliminating plastic waste between adidas and Rohit.

The past two IPL seasons have included Rohit Sharma, who seized the opportunity to demonstrate specially made shoes to raise awareness of the problem of marine plastic waste. He raised awareness of the issue and brought it to light on the international IPL scene. Along with adidas India, he has promised to lead the push in establishing a sustainable earth. In the most recent IPL, he declared that adidas will remove 10 plastic bottles from Mumbai's beaches for each run it scored. Both on and off the field, Rohit has been devoted to this cause.

On social media, Rohit has also expressed his support for the cause "My dream is to play cricket, and I believe that everyone should endeavour to improve the world. It was remarkable for me to carry a cause that is so dear to my heart on the field as I pursue my passion. I carry my cause with me as I pursue my passion! I leave with my cause, but I need your help to continue the march." After each game, he made two posts, one of which focused on the importance of rhino conservation and the other on the importance of cleaning up our oceans.

The fashionable and "Sustainable Collection" will include a variety of items, including lounge pants, polo t-shirts, roundneck t-shirts, track suits, shorts, and training pants. Leading experience designer Aaquib Wani and Rohit worked together to create the collection. Select retailers and adidas.co.in will carry the limited edition line.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, stated during the launch: "One of the major problems facing humanity now is marine pollution. Our ability to survive depends on the oceans, which are also a unique ecosystem that must be preserved. Ending plastic waste is a priority for us both, and this collection is the result of unmatched dedication and effort to saving the oceans. My association with adidas over the years has been a major step towards raising awareness for the cause, which is why I am proud to collaborate with them for this collection."

Sustainability has long been one of adidas' basic beliefs, according to Sunil Gupta, Senior Director, adidas India, who spoke at the inauguration. All of our efforts are directed toward ending plastic waste, which has been our mission. We think the key to saving our seas and putting a stop to the worldwide plastic issue is collaboration, creativity, and eco-innovation.

"This collection marks a milestone for our cooperation because Rohit has always been at the forefront of our effort to eradicate plastic waste as our sustainability ambassador. Through this alliance, we hope to raise awareness of the issue and motivate millions of people to support our campaign to eradicate plastic waste.
