Glamorgan will be taking on Durham in the final of the 2021 Royal London One Day Cup, at Trent Bridge, on Thursday, 19 August.

Glamorgan have only lost two matches in their campaign so far. Nicholas Selman has been their leading run-scorer of the tournament, while Joe Cook has been prolific with both bat and ball. He has amassed 145 runs and claimed 18 wickets in the competition.

Cooke’s heroics propelled Glamorgan to a five-wicket victory over Essex in the semi-final. He claimed a five-for before forging a 111-run partnership with Tom Cullen for the sixth wicket. Cooke’s contribution was worth 66.

Durham became the second finalist after defeating Surrey by five wickets on Tuesday. Surrey rode on a century from Mark Stoneman and 85 from Jamie Smith to post 280 on the board as Chris Rushworth picked up three wickets.

In reply, Graham Clark (46) and Alex Lees (75) provided Durham with a solid start. After Clark’s dismissal, Lees went on to add 119 with Scott Borthwick for the second wicket.
